AARP offers a Driver Safety Course.  It remains in effect for three years and can possibly save you money on your automobile insurance premiums.  You can locate  course offerings at: www.aarp.org/findacourse26.

Veterans: You may be eligible for a reduction on your real estate taxes.  Your town tax collection office can provide you the eligibility requirements.

403B account owners: You may be penalized on your real estate tax benefits when taking distributions from this type of account as opposed to taking the distributions from an IRA.  You may want to consider an IRA Rollover.

Unclaimed Property: You may want to visit your home state's website to check whether you or your family members are entitled to any unclaimed property.

Passports: You should consider renewing your passport approximately nine (9) months before it expires.  Some countries require that your passport be valid at least six (6) months beyond the dates of your trip.  Some airlines will not allow you to board if this requirement is not met.   Also; you can check the box for a 52 versus the 28 page passport when applying for a new or renewal passport.  This would alleviate the need for a frequent traveler to request additional passport pages at a later date and hence, avoid the associated fee.
